AIRCRAFT SALES

Professional Aviation Services uses our constantly moving crews and contacts throughout the globe to find aircraft.  We are looking for investors who are interested in purchasing low and selling high.

Our process is to find and identify an aircraft that needs work and is for sale.  We try to get as much information in advance as possible so as to determine the extent of the repairs needed.  Once we are convinced that the aircraft is viable, the next step is to deposit a fully refundable 10% of the asking price into escrow to show good faith.  At this point, we begin our negotiations to ascertain the lowest price. 

Once that price has been determined, we send our traveling team to do a log book review, pre-buy inspection, and survey to establish an estimate of the cost to bring the aircraft into a re-sellable condition.  The survey includes:

 
   
 
  • Pre–ferry maintenance required for issuance of a special flight permit (ferry permit)
  • DAR costs to issue the ferry permit
  • Export/Import fees (if required)
  • Ferry costs to move the airplane to our maintenance facility
  • All associated costs to restore the aircraft to an airworthy and pre-determined refurbished condition for re-sale
  • Insurance 
  • All brokerage and escrow fees
 
 

At this point, a decision is made to close the sale or to renege based on the survey.  If the decision is made to purchase, we move the aircraft to our facility and complete the work required.  You then have a completely restored and re-sellable aircraft worthy of what the market will bear.

If the decision is made to renege, all monies deposited into escrow will be refunded minus the costs for the log book review, pre-buy inspection, and survey.
