CONTRACT PILOTS

With over 32 years in the aviation business, Professional Aviation Services (Mike Roberson specifically), has come in contact with and met, literally thousands of pilots, flying most everything in the sky.

Many of these pilots are old friends who are occasionally looking to do some Part 91 contract work.

Many others, some Flight Safety or Simuflite current, some airline current, are maintained in a data base by Professional Aviation Services.  Because currencies are a finite item, not all pilots are FAA form 8410 or simulator current.

Our partner in the aviation insurance business includes as one of their specialties, one time or short term riders for extensively experienced pilots who can meet Part 91 qualifications.

No matter what type of aircraft you have, we most likely know someone who has extensive experience in your type.

The majority of our contacts are people oriented via either the corporate or airline environment with a greater part having vast international experience.

Scope

If we provide you with a pilot, it is because he/she wants to be there. Most of our placements are for one time out and back trips, occasional multi-day international ferries, and occasional multi-day corporate trips.

By far, the biggest factor is schedule availability.

While most of our pilots are very senior in their primary flying jobs and can thus bid for specific time off, they are performing their duties to you as a second job, or outside work.  This means that in most cases, en-route changes going into back-up days can not be accommodated.
